Teddy Swims
Soul-baring, genre-defying, and impossible to ignore — Teddy Swims has released the definitive version of his breakthrough debut, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Complete Edition). Out today via Warner Records, the 32-track collection expands on the record-breaking original with six new songs, offering fans an even more vulnerable, anthemic, and raw glimpse into the heart of one of music’s most captivating voices.
The Complete Edition includes everything from the acclaimed Part 1 and Part 2 installments of the album — which featured viral smashes like “Bad Dreams,” “Guilty,” and the 6x Platinum juggernaut “Lose Control” — now bolstered by new material, including the confessional “small hands” featuring Raiche and the explosive new single “All Gas, No Breaks” featuring BigXthaPlug. The latter, released just last week, has already drawn praise from Vibe, which called it “tender and sweet” and lauded Swims for his direct and emotional honesty.
The album’s thematic thread — a personal, unflinching reckoning with love, heartbreak, identity, and healing — is laid bare more clearly than ever. As Swims puts it:
“This is the final chapter of this journey that has forever changed my life. These songs have been everything to me—from the advice I didn’t know I needed to the stories of heartbreak, love, and self-discovery. Thank you for letting me trauma dump on you while performing on the road.”
Since first sharing stripped-down cover videos online in 2019, Teddy Swims (real name: Jaten Dimsdale) has transformed from a viral curiosity into a bona fide powerhouse. With nearly 4 billion global streams of “Lose Control” alone, and a current #9 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in its unprecedented 96th week, Swims now holds the record for the longest Hot 100 run in history.
His live performances have only fueled the momentum. After a sold-out UK/European arena tour and festival sweep through South America earlier this year, Swims is currently in the middle of his biggest-ever North American tour, which resumes in July. His presence at major award shows has become expected — he performed at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards (where he was nominated for Best New Artist) and took home Top Hot 100 Song and Top Radio Song at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. He’s also up for three BET Awards this year, including Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.
In between tour stops and TV appearances on The Kelly Clarkson Show, CBS Mornings, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Swims has continued to expand his sound, collaborating with a diverse roster including Quavo, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Coco Jones, GloRilla, and Muni Long.
Next up: a July 19 co-headlining performance with Thomas Rhett at Fenway Park, followed by a string of arena shows in Australia and New Zealand this fall. Tickets and tour details are available here.
Teddy Swims’ story is not one of overnight success, but of grinding with purpose. After years of crafting his voice and penning deeply personal songs through EPs like Unlearning (2021) and Sleep Is Exhausting (2022), Swims has emerged with a sound that fuses R&B, soul, pop, country, and rock — but more importantly, with a voice that can “truly move mountains,” as Consequence aptly put it.
In a crowded musical landscape, Teddy Swims has carved out a lane entirely his own — and with I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Complete Edition), he’s closing one chapter with a full heart and both feet planted firmly in the future.
“I love you, I love you, I love you,” Swims wrote to fans. And judging by the response, the feeling is mutual.
I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Complete Edition) is out now on all platforms.
