Halsey

A decade after she carved her name into the pop landscape with Badlands, Halsey is revisiting the gritty, neon-soaked world that started it all. In honor of the album’s 10-year anniversary, the GRAMMY-nominated, diamond-certified artist has announced a slate of celebratory releases, including a Badlands (Decade Edition), a Badlands: Anthology triple-vinyl box set, and—for the first time on physical format—Badlands: Live From Webster Hall. All editions drop August 29 via UMe/Astralwerks/Capitol Records
Released on August 28, 2015, Badlands wasn’t just a debut—it was a cultural flashpoint. With over 9 billion streams worldwide and more than 3 million album-equivalent sales in the U.S. alone, the record became a generational staple. Every track from the album has earned RIAA certification, a rare feat that cements its legacy. In its original review, Rolling Stone hailed Halsey as “your new favorite pop star,” while Billboard called it “the start of the journey.” Ten years later, that journey comes full circle.
“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years,” Halsey said in a statement. “So much has happened in the last decade, but Badlands remains the most exciting musical journey of my life. I have so many unbelievable things planned for this month to celebrate the album that changed my life and introduced me to the fans I’ll love forever. This is just the beginning.”
Fresh off her wildly successful For My Last Trick tour—which Variety described as “one of the most ambitious pop tours of the year”—Halsey is diving deep into her origins. The Badlands: Anthology triple-disc vinyl will feature never-before-heard demos, orchestral reinterpretations, official remixes, and rarities. It’s a sprawling, archival tribute that captures not only the music but the mythos.
Meanwhile, Badlands: Live From Webster Hall, originally released digitally in 2019, gets a long-awaited physical release on limited-edition colored 2LP vinyl. The performance, captured in the intimate NYC venue, showcases the raw intensity and cinematic flair that have defined Halsey’s live shows from the start.
Pre-orders for all editions are live now at halsey.lnk.to/BADLANDS10YEAR, and if her teaser is anything to go by, fans can expect even more surprises in the coming weeks.
One thing is clear: Badlands wasn’t just a place—it was the beginning of a revolution. Ten years on, Halsey’s still leading it.
