Immortal Love
Global pop visionary MIKA is gearing up for a major comeback, announcing his first English-language studio album since 2019 and dropping a new single that proves his knack for crafting emotionally fearless, instantly timeless pop has never faded.
Today, the multi-platinum, BRIT Award-winning artist releases “Immortal Love,” a shimmering, heartfelt track that coincides with the official pre-order launch for his highly anticipated album, Hyperlove, due out January 23 via Republic Records.
“Immortal Love” is built on MIKA’s signature soaring vocals and melodic craftsmanship, serving as a reflection on deep connection and the “unseen energies that follow us through our lives.” The inspiration, the artist confirms, is partly rooted in his beloved 15-year-old golden retriever—a beautiful and fitting testament to the pure, unconditional wonder that frequently fuels MIKA’s best work.
The chorus, in particular, radiates pure, anthemic warmth: “It’s just immortal love / There’s just immortal love / We are immortal love.”
The new single follows the bold, synth-driven anthem “Modern Times,” which set the stage for a daring reinvention. For Hyperlove, MIKA has returned to the piano as his creative anchor, crafting an album that purposefully merges the “warmth of analogue imperfections with the pristine pulse of electronic pop.”
Written entirely at the piano and produced using only analogue and vintage outboard gear, the record is described as a living, breathing landscape of vulnerability and euphoria. It’s an exploration of the constant tension between the digital age and the fragility of human feeling. MIKA calls this dynamic “the electricity that jumps between the plus and minus of a charge,” defining the album’s title as being about “embracing that euphoria that helps you make sense of the world around you.”
To support the new era, MIKA is bringing his dazzling, kaleidoscopic live show back to North America next spring.
The Spinning Out Tour North America kicks off on April 29, 2026, in Boston, MA, and will make its way through major cities, including a stop at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York, the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, and a performance at the famed Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. Notably, the San Francisco date at The Castro is already SOLD OUT, a testament to the enduring loyalty of his fanbase.
The new album and tour solidify MIKA’s legacy as one of pop’s most innovative and emotionally resonant artists, whose work—from the iconic “Grace Kelly” to his newest material—remains united by an unwavering sense of possibility.
